Ostara is a sumptuous musical and artistic project released in 2022 to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of Rossometile, an Italian symphonic gothic metal band.
To honour such an important milestone in its career, the band decided not only to put out a collection which features some of its best songs repurposed in a new symphonic/acoustic version, but also to have each song illustrated with an inspired and evocative drawing. Of course I was honored and proud to do the job, with my china ink.
The result was a beautiful bunch of tarots-like cards, printed on a silky paper, stored in a luxurious black box with the CD and other stuff.
